Skryim Patch 1.02 Released, Notes Inside

Bethesda’s released the notes for the PS3 patch of Skyrim as reported earlier, and has promised to do the same for the Xbox 360 and PC versions on Wednesday, November 30th.

The update’s been available in Europe for a while, but Bethesda’s confirmed through a tweet its U.S. status. The PS3 version of Skyrim is said to be patched to 2.01 at the moment, as Bethesda tries to resolve the game-killing bug, which literally renders the Blu-Ray disc useless when save files get too large.

Here’s the full thing:

Improved occasional performance issues resulting from long term play (PlayStation 3)

Fixed issue where textures would not properly upgrade when installed to drive (Xbox 360)

Fixed crash on startup when audio is set to sample rate other than 44100Hz (PC)

Fixed issue where projectiles did not properly fade away

Fixed occasional issue where a guest would arrive to the player’s wedding dead

Dragon corpses now clean up properly

Fixed rare issue where dragons would not attack

Fixed rare NPC sleeping animation bug

Fixed rare issue with dead corpses being cleared up prematurely

Skeleton Key will now work properly if player has no lockpicks in their inventory

Fixed rare issue with renaming enchanted weapons and armor

Fixed rare issue with dragons not properly giving souls after death

ESC button can now be used to exit menus (PC)

Fixed occasional mouse sensitivity issues (PC)

General functionality fixes related to remapping buttons and controls (PC)

“After releasing the 1.2 update, we will continue to monitor forums, blogs, etc. for issues you are reporting, and we will keep you updated on further updates to improve your gameplay experience,” said the firm.

you would think after all the flack bugthesda have copped they would tighten up their act and start putting their games through QA.
but, well, you would think wrong.
hell, when your spending 3 years on a game and it turns out like fallout 3 you know your in trouble!
but when you release a GOTY version of the same game a year later and it still has issues, well, all i can say is what the ^%$# is wrong with you!?
