Quick Quenchers: Activision CEO On Call Of Duty Criticism And Being The Underdog

“I think it’s hard to think of Call of Duty, the biggest game in history, as the underdog. But with all the skepticism and all of the things that have been said, it’s great.

It’s great to be hungry, it’s great to have something to prove, it’s great to try to prove everybody wrong.” – Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg, via Kotaku.

WHO THE HELL SAID COD WAS THE UNDERDOG???? COD has LEGIONS…LEGIONS of followers! If anyone is the underdog,it is every FPS released that isnt COD. Just look at every FPS and see how they are UNFAIRLY compared to COD games. Not only that, but they are penalized for not being like COD and at the same time, penalized for being too much like COD. These are not just the rantings of a sleep deprived Skyrim starved individual…these are the lucid thoughts of a gamer who wishes game reviewer would put their fanboyism aside. Thats why I fox with Gamesthirst!

Thanks, bro. We’ll keep it honest here. Doesn’t matter the game or publisher. We really don’t care about anything else but our users.
