Paintball mode was one of the best features in the original GoldenEye. Nothing was more satisfying then sticking a bullet in an enemy’s head with a nice little splat of green. This feature makes it’s return to GoldenEye: Reloaded, but at a price.
According to a report from Giant Bomb, GoldenEye: Reloaded will feature the wonderful paintball mode. The only problem is that you won’t be able to just unlock it, you have to buy it. The paintball mode will be an exclusive pre-order DLC add-on, not a feature you can obtain in-game.
It’s still available in the game’s single-player mode Mi6 Ops and if you join an online host’s match and they happen to have the paintball mode enabled, you’ll still see it. This means the paintball DLC is already on the disc so it appears that Activision is pulling a Capcom on us.
