by Joseph Garrett on October 6th, 2011, under industry news, News

According to a report by by the UK games industry trade association TIGA the iphone is now the most popular development platform in the UK.

The report surveyed 170 members in order to come up with percentages on the Uk’s most developed platforms. The iphone was the winner with 61% but the PC was only just behind with 59%. Despite only being on the market for 2 years the ipad commands an impressive 48% while non-apple mobile devices combined only managed 34%.

What do you think of this news? Do you love having a huge selection of games at your finger tips or do you like to control your games with buttons and not touch screens?
