Remember this past E3 when Nintendo showed off what the Wii U brought to the table? Of course you can, the main tech was showing how the new touchpad controller could double as a gaming device itself. Well that’s already old news, as Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida demonstrated how easy it was for him to play games on PS3 using nothing but the PS Vita, while his companion stuck with the traditional DualShock controls.
According to VG247, “the handheld’s touch screen and intuitive controls can work in tandem with the traditional control sticks – adding the ability to swipe lines across the screen, flinging objects and drawing new platforms.”
Will more than one person be able to use PS Vita to control PS3 is a question yet unanswered, but we’ll know soon enough.
