Monday Night Combat was an unexpected gem back in 2010. It got good reviews across the board with a metacritic score of 80/100 and solid sales with over 293,000 sold by the end of 2010 on the Xbox Live Arcade alone. Now Uber Entertainment is realising more robot smashing, castle defence, third person shooter actions with Super Monday Night Combat.
While not officially a full sequel this refinement will continue with the established formula while adding a wealth of new content. The biggest change however is the distribution method. Super Monday Night Combat is going to be exclusively for the PC and will be a free-toplay game. New content to the game will be available for purchase and an XBLA version may be released in the future.
