Britain Police Arrest LulzSec Mastermind On Shetland Isles

by Ernice Gilbert on July 28th, 2011, under Hot, News

Everything thing, good a bad, must come to end. And karma bites like dogs teeth laden with rabies. Yes indeed, Britain’s Scotland Yard has arrested a hacker associated with LulzSec on the Shetland Islands off the coast of Scotland, according to a statement on the force’s site.

A 19-year old guy known as ‘Topiary’ was nabbed in the raid, arrested under the Section 3 of the Computer Misuse Act and Section 1 of the Criminal Law Act 1977 at a residential address in the Shetland Islands, and is now being shipped to central London, where he’ll be formally charged.

As we speak, a search is underway at the address, and LulzSec’s Twitter account hasn’t been updated since yesterday.

LulzSec ran the industry loco recently, stealing user accounts, DDOS’d gaming sites and took down many MMO sites.
