We thought Mass Effect 1 was one of the best WRPGs ever made, and things got even better with Mass Effect 2 as to this day it’s one of this generation’s highest rated games. It’s right up there, actually. But Bioware insists that what we’ve experience in the first two titles, although great, will be exceeded by the third installment, as it’s the “best game” the studio’s ever developed.
That’s what the firm’s Marketing boss David Silverman told CVG recently. He said: “We’re making Mass Effect 3 to be the best game we’ve ever made. That would make it one of the best games ever, and we’re hoping to see sales that reflect that.”
Big talk, wouldn’t you say? But hey, they’ve got the proof to back it up, and the reputation too. Let’s just hope Bioware doesn’t sellout in the name of the almighty dollar, trying to lure a bigger audience.
