Below the break you’ll see some leaked Battlefield 3 footage from the game’s closed beta testing that’s going on as we speak ahead of the open beta that begins in September. Get quenched below the break.

Video Thirst: Nothing Like It

There’s no other shooter as beautifully looking as this (on PC), and there’s no other game with so much destruction (on any platform). Battlefield 3 will be out worldwide in October for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

correction, RFA has allot more destruction then this.
though its in a much more confined area so i guess thats to be expected.
thats one thing that really disappointed me with BFBC2.
the original introduced destructable environments to the mix, then RFG came in and blew it out the door.
so then BFBC2 comes out and slightly improves on the original, but was still lightyears behind RFG.
come on DICE, yous are the creators of destruction surely you can do better then this!

    You have a point. Agreed.

i hope they improve it with this, but to be honest i cant see it being anywhere near what RFA offers.
im really looking forward to the sound effects mostly, no one does sound effects better then DICE!
    especially gunfire, sounds so real!
thats one area games really have not moved on much this gen, especially compared to movies!
comparing a movies sound to a games is like comparing a ps3 game to a ps1 game!
why were stuck with crappy dolby digital, the tech the freaking ps2 used, when movies moved onto DTS, then DTS HD, and now true HD, is beyond me!
games got a loooooooooooooooooooong way to go to catch up to where movies are in the sound department!
