If you thought Infinity Ward was about to slack up with Modern Warfare 3, think again. In fact, the developer, with the help of Sledgehammer, a preparing a big that improves on all points. One of them being story, and according to community man Robert Bowling, that’s “the payoff for the investment that people have put in since Call of Duty 4.” Adding: “the goal is to tell one hell of a story”.
“Every game we put out, we sit back and we look at ‘What can we do better? What areas can we focus on to bump the experience up?’ And story was one of those coming out of MW2,” he told Joystiq.
It’s all exciting stuff. It’s also good to hear they’re focusing on the game’s story along with its multiplayer.

Whoever writes the Call of Duty stories has a bad habit of killing characters I like. I got a feeling they will do it again.
of course, because COD is synonymous for fantastic stories……. right?
of course, stories to COD is like what violence is to GOW!……………
