Bethesda Announces Dishonored, Will Release Next Year

Bethesda’s announced the first game from developer Arkane Studios known as Dishonored. It’s a brand new IP.

Dishonored is apparently a first-person stealth action-adventure game, and according to the developer, ti’s all about “assassination where you don’t have to kill anyone”. GameInformer’s latest issue features the game, which claims morality will play a big role in the new title.

Dishonored’s development is being helm by Arkane co-founder Raf Colantonio and co-creative director – and co-creator of the Deus Ex series – Harvey Smith. Viktor Antonov, who designed City 17 in Half-Life 2, is also involved with the new title.

Bethesda bought Arkane Studios last year. The new game will be released next year, however no solid release date has been given.
