Quick Quenchers: Zelda Wii U tech Demo Is “Not Necessarily” Franchise’s Future

“You probably remember that when we introduced the GameCube, we showed a somewhat realistic Zelda demo. And what we actually created was the cel-shaded Wind Waker. So when we show a graphic demo, people think, ‘Oh, this is what the next Zelda will look like,’ but that’s not necessarily the case.” – The Legends of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma speaking to Wired.

obviously, thats why there called tech demos!
there to display what could be done, not what will be done.
im really looking forward to skyward sword, really disappointed on how much attention its getting though.
i mean come on, its the only exclusive ninty are releasing for the wii this year so you would think we would be getting trailers per day!
biggest series ever released, yet its getting as much attention as a unknown IP!
