they can try push it forward with that controller there supposedly making, but that just defeats the purpose.
its fine for casual games and streaming your content, but when it comes to playing core games its got no place.
im really starting to worry halo 4 will be heavily involved with kinect........
that will be the final nail in the coffin!
the chief does not do MC!

I agree with you guys. Microsoft's lost its way because it saw great success with Kinect. But Kinect's just like.....the Wii....People will get bored overtime with all this motion stuff, and like Dean said, most of the casuals who bought it probably don't use it that much because of the lackluster content it harbors.... MS needs to rethink its strategy.

so why are you only catering to one audience, and giving your core fans, the ones who brought you here in the first place, the middle finger?
remember, xbox would be nothing without its core fans, so how about you show some appreciation to them, and give them more of the games there screaming for!
these companies seem to assume there core fans are going to stay after they give them the finger!
M$ are going to turn into $E if they keep going the way there going.
and the saddest part of it is they cant see it!
either that, or they refuse to.
oh well, i guess they have to learn the hard way.
as the saying goes, you never realize what you have till you loose it!

Well i may as well provide the flame bait here. The failure rate of the launch model of Xbox 360 was RUMOURED to be higher than 70% so when execs say that they outsold PS3 i cant help but wonder if these figures are inclusive of replacement consoles.

i went through 3 consoles in a year with one of those three failing right out of the box. For me the actual figure of installed Xbox 360 consoles is probably closer to the number of xbox live accounts.

Kinect on the other hand is an amazing piece of kit. well built and groundbreaking but with one major flaw...........a complete lack of out the box support and lackluster games incoming. But if you ask a microsoft exec its the future of xbox 360, now if you ask your average consumer who bought Kinect im betting they probably have not used it in months for a control system on the best selling platform this generation that would seem like a complete fail.......such a great innovation let down by the difficulty of in game navigation around the gamespaces that developers build. once they solve this problem and players arn't reduced to on rails games developers will be more than happy to spend 50 million on producing games that give you freedom inside the game and freedom from the controller in your hand.
