Sony’s sent live a new firmware update version 3.66 for PS3, and it’s not optional.
It’s a mandatory update that will improve network services and increase stability when gaming.
I’ve already updated my PS3, and it could take a bit. So turn that black machine on before you head out of the house, and by the time you come back home it’ll be all set.

One of the perks of having Playstation Plus. It will turn on, download, install, shut off and be ready for when I get home.
On another note. Have you noticed that the whole, Cross Game Chat, talk has kind of dried up since Playstation has pacified the masses?
Yes I’ve noticed. Shame really. Rumor had it the thing was certifiable…
great, thats all i need another 100+MBs of my download usage wasted!
when will companies realize not all of us live in japan with unlimited download usages?
A little update now and then isn’t that bad…
tis, i only got 500MBs left to last me 8 days!
if i go over not only do i get fined my internet gets slowed to freaking dialup speeds!
LOL! Man AU should be better than this with internet….Come on!
you tell them that!

driving me nuts, i could get 500GBs per month for HALF what were paying now if i could get ADSL2 but i cant because the copper in the grounds so old and deteriated by the time the signal gets to the house its basically dead.
so im stuck with cable.
stuck in the era of bluray with nothing but crappy floppy drives…….
Nice avatar! I’ll come and teach them a lesson!
