Guerrilla Games have just confirmed to Gamesthirst that there will be no more Operations maps for Killzone 3.
Yesterday after the developer released two preview videos for the retro maps included in its latest Killzone 3 DLC offering dubbed From Ashes, we took to twitter seeking an answer as to why we hadn’t seen nothing new for the Operations mode. The dev responded swiftly, replying: “It is unlikely there will be any more Operations maps for Killzone 3.”
So there you have it. It’s somewhat disappointing, though, as Operations seems to be a very popular map amongst the fans. It’s also strange that they haven’t given an explanation why. We’ll ask them.
From Ashes goes on sale today, costing 4.99/ €4.99\£3.99. There’s also a DLC Bundle Pack also releasing today which includes “the Retro Pack, the Steel Rain Pack AND the From The Ashes Pack – a total of eight maps – for the low, low price of just $9.99.â€
) so they no that they will get people buying the DLC, Radec and Tharsis are by far the most popular maps on KZ2. Im kinda itching to rebuy this game again just to check out what theyve done to Radec and Tharsis. I can get it for £20 2nd hand, which is £5 less than what i traded it in for, however is it worth it?, as we no that DLC maps only stay popular for a relatively short period of time…..

Of course it’s worth it. I have to say though, I”m REALLY disappointed by this news. Very much so. But go buy the game so we could get in on some action!
