Wii U Price Point Revealed

Iwata’s told the press what Wii U price will likely be, and you simply won’t believe it.

Speaking to Nikkei, (converted by Bloomberg), Iwata said that the Wii U will “likely” cost Â¥20,000, which equates to $250.

If you can remember, when Wii was released in the U.S., it was sold for $250.

In an interview with GTTV, NoA boss Reggie Fils-Aime told Geoff Keighley that Wii U would represent “great value”, value that will also be “competitive”.

It’ll launch in 2012 – we believe late 2012.
