At Nintendo’s press conference earlier today, the company unveiled for the first time its new console dubbed Wii U, however only the revolutionary controller was shown, and NoA boss Reggie Fils-Aime explained why.
“We focused on the controller, because that really is going to drive the key point of difference,” said Reggie Fils-Aime, speaking in a video interview with G4. “Yes, the visuals are going to be beautiful – we showed just a smattering of what we can do – but what will make it new, unique, different is going to be the controller.”
He also confirmed that Wii U wouldn’t give Wii games a graphical boost, but they’ll run smoothly. Wii U comes out next year.
