Insomniac Games have brought back most of the elements that made the Resistance franchise so lovable for the third installment. But at the same time, the developer realizes the need for change and has done all it can to make Resistance 3 an innovative title, right down to the game’s box art. Will it be great? The trailer below the break houses your answer.

Video Thirst: Survival

America has been overran. The place is in disarray and most of its citizens are dead, they couldn’t survive the Chimeran onslaught. Yet there’s hope – you and a few of your friends still stand a chance of changing the course of history – but just remember, it’ll be hard. Are you up to the task? If yes, then Resistance 3 is your game.

Resistance 3 comes out in September exclusively for PS3.

That video has officially made me super excited. I can’t wait to play this game. I love the dark feeling. It will be an awesome game.

Seems like it has a good story too. I’m really looking forward to this.

still on the fence with this.
they have gone with the decimated, the world is over feel.
hopefully they stick to that, instead of the miraculous breakthrough and u become the worlds savior!
its nice to see a dev go onto the dark sad side for a change, instead
of your typical and they lived happily ever after fairytale stories!

Yes indeed. For some reason I’m really like the mood and atmosphere of it… Story should be interesting too.

    i dunno.
the drama and darkness i like, but i have not seen anything that wowed me like R2.
i just hope its a worthy sequel to one of ps3s best new IPs!
unlike that other game which will remain nameless!

Ha, you mean KZ3? Haha. Stop hating, you know it’s certifiable. Also, I believe this Resistance will redeem the franchise. Bring it back to its former glory.

no of course not i was talking about R2.
it was impressive because of the titans they were huge!
but besides those the game was a disappointment in every way!
