If you thought you’d be waiting another week before you started seeing L.A. Noire reviews hit the internet, you’re in for a pleasant surprise, as the first review’s live now.
It’s from UK’s The Guardian, which posted its review at 00:06BST.
Here’s a snippet from the review:
“In the past, games with such overwhelming ambitions have floundered on odd, usually peripheral, aspects that jarred – such as unrealistic animation (and especially facial animation), clunky dialogue, poor virtual camerawork or facile characterisation. LA Noire is the first game to lack any such element which naggingly reminds you that you’re playing a video game, rather than strolling through a film or TV series.
That’s why it marks a breakthrough for games as a whole – and we can’t wait to see what Rockstar does with LA Noire’s technology in its other blockbuster franchises.”
It received a 5/5 score from the publication.
L.A. Noire gets out next Tuesday in the U.S., and next Friday in the UK.

sweet!
GOTY guaranteed!
No doubt!
just got this monts GI they gave it a 9.5
only complaint was the action sequences are a little underbaked.
too simplistic in comparison to the depth and attention to detail the rest of the game has.
also found my new favorite one liner.
