More God Of War 4 Rumors Unearthed, This Time WIth Online Multiplayer

by Ernice Gilbert on May 9th, 2011, under Development, Hot, News, PS3, Sony

We recently asked gamers were they ready for God of War 4, as a job listing appeared on LinkedIn confirming that Santa Monica was indeed hard at work in Kratos’ fourth major adventure. Now the Official PlayStation Magazine (UK) has in its rumor section that not only is the game under development, it’ll also boast an online mulitplayer component.

“Kratos is on his way back, with his next adventure set to feature multiplayer,” wrote the mag (via CVG).

Last month PSM3 said: “Our source works closely with the God of War universe, and let slip he’d be working on a related project at the same time.”

If we’re to see more of this game soon, it’ll definitely be at the biggest game show in the world, right? E3 it is, then.

how can he be back, when, you know……..?
oh well, i honestly doubt this will be coming out anytime soon.
the heavenly sword 2 rumor has been going on for so long im almost convinced its true.
then theres the tps open world game they were suppose to be working on, and the game QDs boss was asked to help on.
not to mention every GOW title has taken 3+ years to develop, so another reason i cant see it coming out this year.
ok they have the engine and assets in place, but after 3 there going to have to raise the bar a little, and, well, creating bosses larger then chronos is going to take a hell of a long time!
GOWs just not one of those games you can pull out in a heartbeat!
hell, GOW3 started development during GOW2s for crying out loud!
