Video Thirst: Outland, First Look

Something new for you today. The video bellow is my first impressions of a new download only game called Outland. This is part of a new weekly series where I will look at a trial/demo of a game, and let you know if it’s worth your time and what you can expect in the full game.

Starting with a pretty impressive game too. Having heard little about the game I didn’t know what to expect when going into Outland for the first time, but was left wanting more. It was developed by the largely unheard of Housemarque and published by Ubisoft. The easiest way to understand what the game is about, is by watching the video bellow. And if this brief look gets you interested then why give the trial a download (although you might have to wait for the PSN to come back online).

    I saw an interview on this game the day before it came out and it got me really interested in it. I had not heard of it until then. If i had the money, I would get it.

    hmmmm, reminds me allot of a kid and his majin i think it was called.
    released last year on the wii, was a very similar adventure game.

    @ Ernice Will you be getting this on xbox or PS3?. I’m thinking of getting it and would like someone to play through the co-op with.

    And by the way I get the price wrong in the video, Outland costs 800 MS points ($10) and not 1200. Sorry if I mislead anyone.
