EA says Need For Speed: The Run will be the “race of your life”, as the publisher introduces us to the new, hardcore-looking title. Details and a spanking hot trailer can be found below the break.
According to the firm:
It’s called The Run. An illicit, high-stakes race across the country. The only way to get your life back is to be the first from San Francisco to New York. No speed limits. No rules. No allies. All you have are your driving skills and sheer determination as you battle hundreds of the world’s most notorious drivers on the country’s most dangerous roads.

It’s being developed by Black Box, and we assume for PS3 and Xbox 360. No release date was issued, but rest assured the firm will have more concerning its new racer come E3 2011.
WOW! EA at one time said they were abandoning the NFS franchise for a while, but instead, it looks like they are just going to milk the crap out of it.
I just noticed the release date. This will make 3 NFS games in one year. That is ridiculous.
i think i prefer if criterion makes more racing games…

i will wait for the review here before i rent from my library.. coz my library recently put a limit on how many games u could rent… I think EA may be attackin COD makers from all sides.. by tryin to take more money out using different genre’s… and i had a question…do u guys think developers will try and avoid the u3 launch window…
Yes they will. Because Uncharted is a brand almost every PS3 owner who buys games on a regular will get. It would be unwise to release a game close to it. Very unwise because that other game, doesn’t matter what it is, will flop on PS3.
