It’s been a tough week for Sony, one of the hardest the giant’s faced yet, but now it seems light is starting to shine again. PSN will soon be back up and better, more secure than ever, and now we’re getting confirmation from major credit card companies concerning leaked info. According to them, there’s no evidence that your credit’s being used in the wild by madmen.
This according to a Bloomberg report stating that several credit card companies (MasterCard, American Express, and Wells Fargo) have seen “no unauthorized activity relating to Sony.”
Although this is great news, it should not surprise us at all, since Sony’s already said on its various blogs that credit card information was encrypted, and they never house your secret pin.
Sir Howard Stringer, Sony’s global boss is about to hang his jersey, and to his successor, Kaz Hirai, he said this:
“This is an opportunity for the board to watch Hirai-san and judge his performance.”

because others have signed into there accounts and bought PSN content just before it went down using other peoples CCs.
