Sucker Punch will extend inFamous 2′s UGC beta test because of the PSN outage, which saw the online service went offline last Wednesday.
Said the dev through twitter:
“We’ve decided to extend the beta. Once PSN is back up we’ll determine by how long, but rest assured: your outcry has been heard.”
The beta as of now, is still playable, but you can’t upload or download any user-created content, or access the private beta forums.
Beta code giveaways have been halted too, but as soon as PSN comes back online, it’ll resume.
Said Sucker Punch on its official site:
“Handing out beta codes that you can’t redeem is decidedly cruel and unusual – that said, during this time of maintenance, we will suspend all code giveaways and contests.
As soon as PSN is back up and running, though, you can expect to see our contests and giveaways populating our usual outlets. As usual, stay tuned to our Twitter feed, and we’ll let you know as soon as the servers come back online.”
inFamous 2 will see a release in June exclusively for PS3.
So are they going to give the rest of the world some love?
Remember Sony, the US are not the only ones who bought ps3s!
