Yesterday (21st April) the celebrity youtuber Freddy Wong uploaded A video about him winning a free unicorn from a pop-up. He then discovers the horrific truth that the unicorn can shoot rainbows out of it’s unmentionable. So whats that got to do with gaming? Watch to the end and you will see a special thank you message to volition, for allowing them to use there unicorn model. So what are volition doing with a 3D model of a unicorn.

The the story of the colourfully fluctuating unicorn doesn’t end there. In the behind the scenes video they go on to explain about there visit to THQ. When explaining how they managed to aqure the 3D model, they let slip that the unicorn is in fact going to be used as weapon in an upcoming game by volition. My money is on Saints Row: The Third, although Red Faction: Guerilla did feature an ostrich hammer as an ester egg. So could gamers be destroying buildings if unicorns come May.

its the perfect game, its always had that sense of humor so this fits it like a glove!
and thats why the series is so popular, unlike another series which shall be nameless, its actually got a sense of humor!

just cause 2 is another perfect example.
sure the controls are stuffed, the missions are repetitive, the weapons are pretty crap, the shooting mechanics not exactly great, the cast is cheesy as hell!
but you know what?
no one cares, because its so much fun!
