Sony’s updated both the U.S. and EU PS Blogs with a post concerning the worldwide PlayStation Network outage, and SCEA’s Patrick Seybold has warned the downtime might last up to two days.
“We are investigating the cause of the Network outage, we wanted to alert you that it may be a full day or two before we’re able to get the service completely back up and running,” he wrote.
“Thank you very much for your patience while we work to resolve this matter. Please stay tuned to this space for more details, and we’ll update you again as soon as we can.”
I was one of the first person to experience the problems gamers worldwide are now suffering, and we reported first on this issue last week. And again, like last week, I’m unable to access the US PS blog, however access to the European PS Blog is a breeze. Could this be the work of hackers? Yes, but we don’t know for sure.
Stay tuned.

cant sign in at all.
I miss BC2
no one can. Hopefully the problem is rectified soon.
just a thought. but wasn’t steam supposed to be intergrated and come online this week.
its apparently issues in JP.
hopefully its rectified soon, the DNF demos suppose to be out soon!
dunno WTF happened to that, we were suppose to be getting it a few weeks before the original release!
2 weeks till the original release date, and were still to hear boo about it!
So I heard, I can’t even visit the US PS Blog.
@ Dean – imagine that…. Steam comes to PSN, and PSN goes mental….
steams intergrated into portal 2.
i synced my steam account with my PSN account worked fine.
even redeemed the PC code now, so i can play it on my PC.
stupid thing is though you cant use a ps3 save for the pc version and vice versa.
i wish developers would start letting us do that!
i normally always get my games for consoles, but later on like to replay them on the PC, but dont because i dont want to start all over again!
