Uncharted 3 Looks “Phenomenal” In 3D, Says Analyst

by Ernice Gilbert on April 14th, 2011, under Hot, News, PS3, Sony

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Need I say more? I think I’ll just take a moment of silence as we ponder what’s coming on November 1st exclusively for PS3….. Now let’s head past the jump and see what says Analyst Jesse Divnich about how the game looks in 3D after attending an analyst day event setup by Sony.

“Uncharted 3 in 3D looked phenomenal,” he said, adding, “with a sea of first-person shooters scheduled for this holiday season, Uncharted 3 is in a prime position to appeal to the non-shooter crowd.”

But the EEDAR employee didn’t stop there, he went on to add that Naughty Dog’s game could do for 3D gaming what Avatar did for the movies. Big talk, is it not? But if anyone can accomplish such lofty goals, it’d be Naughty Dog.

As for the remaining of 2011, Divnich says Sony is “well positioned for continued software growth on the PlayStation 3.” In truth, Sony keeps outperforming the competition in the realm of software growth in 2011 (worldwide), and he believes this is mostly due to the larger number of first-party releases.

………. except it is a shooter.
i at times wonder if these “analysts” actually listen to the shit that spews out of there mouths!
    obviously not!
as for uncharted 3s 3D, ill believe it when i see it!
allot of games have had that said about them, called them the second coming, and ive been drastically disappointed by it.
crytek called crysis 2 the avatar of 3D gaming, when its got the worst 3D effects ive ever seen, both KZ3 and COD BO kick the royal crap out of crysis 2 in the 3D department!
3D gamings got a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way to go till it gets back up to movie standards!
