But it’s not being helmed by Ninja Theory.
The game, one that came in the early days of PS3, sold 1.5 million units worldwide, and was regarded as a top-tier exclusive title. But Sony and Ninja Theory, the game’s developer, didn’t see eye-to-eye on certain things, and Ninja Theory moved on to Namco, developing the game that sold very poor at retail, Enslaved: Odyssey To The West.
So Heavenly Sword has survived, then, but who’s developing it for sure, according to the HipHopGamer, is clothed in darkness.
Sony’s got many a studio that’s more than able to do a massive sequel, the most prominent being Santa Monica, the God of War developer.
So the Trilogy is still intact. Awesome news I must say.

this game had amazin graphics for its tym…. and i also liked the quick time events too
Man if this is true it’s the best news I’ve heard all year!
nothings confirmed yet, but allot of whispers are saying SM will be working on it.
i remember reading early last year that heavenly sword 2 was in development.
i hope its true, and hopefully SM are working on it.
the original was a freaking masterpiece!
if heavenly sword does not deserve a sequel, nothing does!
If Santa Monica is working on it, then it’s a day one buy for me.
day one buy for me no matter whos making it!
true.
