Video Thirst: Anonymous Releases Video, Warns Of Continued Attacks

by Ernice Gilbert on April 4th, 2011, under Hot, News, Sony

And it continues. Just as Sony’s reporting sporadic outages of PSN throughout the day, and many of its websites going down because of attacks that hacktivist group anonymous has taken responsibility for, a new video released by the same group warning Sony of more attacks. Attacks that won’t stop until they’re “satisfied” of the outcome.

Video Thirst: War

This is war, folks:

    LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!
These guys are so stupid. Consoles are much different than pc’s. When you purchase a pc it allows you to place other stuff on there because it is open to do so, but in order to do jail break on ps3 you have to use Sony’s copyrighted code, which is illegal. If you take their code and manipulate it without their permission, then you are breaking the law. Now, if you are able to jailbreak it using only the hardware and not the code then you are okay. That is why Sony could do nothing last gen when people pirated so much because it was a hardware issue. This time around it is a code, which you do not purchase. You purchase the hardware that runs that code.

This just got real. We the gamers are the ones paying for all this mess. These hackers are ridiculous. This will only make Geohot less popular and hated around the gaming community.

I agree 100% Ernice. They think they are doing the right thing but the people who pay actual money are the ones suffering. I bought my games and I would like to play them.
As far as I am concerned… Sony created it and they can do whatever the heck they want with it. It all started with the Other OS removal. Whaaaaa. Don’t like it? Buy a computer and put whatever OS you want on there.
I am tired of these asshats thinking they are doing us favors. I hope they get what they deserve.

Agreed wholly with you comment. These guys need to get out of their mothers basements and find real lives. Like you said, I pay for my games, and I’d like to play them, thank you. Geohot started the crap, and now with this nonsense, his reputation’s just gone down the hole.

They need no sympathy…Sony should sue them to hell and back….
