Killzone 3 Servers Go Down On Monday, Will Fix Guerrilla Warfare Issues – All Regions Affected

Just like we reported a few days ago, Guerrilla Games has now made official that Killzone 3′s servers will see some downtime this coming Monday.

It’s a server side maintenance happening from March 28th – 11:00am – 12:00am GMT, according to a post by the developer on the Killzone forums.

Fixes include:

1- Improved balancing rules to make sure empty factions/games get balanced better and quicker.
2- A fix for Guerrilla Warfare games where scores were not correctly processed.
3- People with a slower connection sometimes experience ghost players in their game. This has been fixed. The symptoms of this were:

- Other players that quitted the game remain present in game (standing still and cannot be killed)
- Other players that quitted the game are shown on the leaderboards.
- When the player rolls over to the next round, he gets stuck in the connection screen.

Guerrilla Games was quick to stress that this not a patch, and information about an upcoming update will go live soon.
