Show me a first person shooter that looks as compelling as DICE’s recently announced Battlefield 3 and I’ll take my place in the abode of the embarrassed, because I haven’t seen anything so beautiful and engaging in a long time.
Anyway, concerning the PS3′s version of Battlefield 3, DICE has said it’ll love to include PS Move support and stereoscopic 3D. I say, bring it on.
“We are thinking about it, yes, definitely,” DICE GM Karl Magnus Troedsson told the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine UK (via CVG), with the shooter’s art director Gustav Tilleby adding, “At the same time, we’re looking at what we can improve. I think the technology we have is a step beyond what the others have.”
Encouraging move for PS Move and Sony’s push on 3D. Let’s hope they have enough time to make it worthwhile.
Battlefield 3 releases for the holidays.
