Operations DLC For Killzone 3 “Unlikely”, Says Guerrilla

So this to me, is the most pathetic news I’ve ever heard coming from Guerrilla Games.

“Unlikely” was the response KZ3 producer Seb Downie gave to a question on the US PS Blog forums concerning Operations DLC for the game.

He did say, however, that future DLC and game updates will come with more match creation options as well as new maps.

Still, Operations is the new and exciting mode in Killzone 3 where two teams fight to accomplish goals, Helghast defending, and ISA on the offensive. The most beautiful part about this game mode is how it progresses. You’ll see the best players being featured in cutscenes before the other objective starts, giving them notoriety among the team. So to not supply gamers with DLC for the most popular game type in KZ3′s mp is somewhat counter-productive.

What do you guys think?

    why do developers do this?
release a new mode for their MP then not support it?
ND did the same thing with uncharted 2s co-op, there was heaps of fans screaming till their face turned blue for more co-op maps but ND said it would be “too hard.”
i thought those 2 words did not exist in their dictionary considering what they have managed to pull off in the past, but sadly i was wrong.
