Video Thirst: How Long Will It Take To Reach Top Rank In Crysis 2′s MP? Try 60hrs

by Ernice Gilbert on February 27th, 2011, under Crytek, EA, Hot, News

Developers don’t talk much about how long it’ll take to complete a game’s multiplayer because there’s really no end in sight, unless they choose to shutdown the servers. But many shooters mp allow for ranking because it gives the sense of progression, something human beings like. So in Crysis 2, there are different ranks, but to reach the top spot, you’ll have to labor for 60hrs.

Here’s Video Proof:

The upgrades seen in the vid you just watched include:

- Stealth Enhance – a faster transition in and out of stealth mode
- Visor Enhance – highlights enemies in your weapons scopes, similar to Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
- Tracker – highlights the footsteps of rival players
- Cloak Tracker – reveals where nearby players enter Stealth mode
More details were given about unlockable modules. “There are more than 20 modules available in the game and each one opens up new tactical possibilities in the battlefield.”
Four of the armour modules were illustrated.
- Air Stomp – perform a powerful downward attack while in the air
- Threat Tracer – highlights incoming bullet paths
- Detonation Delay – delays the detonation of nearby enemy grenades
- Rapid Fire – faster fire rate on primary weapon

The game launches on March 22nd in the U.S. and on the 25th of the same month Europe for 360, PS3 and PC.

    too short.
allot of people play games 5+ hours a day so that would mean 10 or so days and they would be finished.
im more interested in the length of the campaign, if i remember right crytek said id be around 17 hours.
now thats more like it, not that BS 7 hours KZ3 has.

I’m sure Crysis 2′s campaign won’t be 17hs long. It’d be a new record for a shooter, but I doubt it.

depends on how you play it.
theres allot of exploring you can do, and you dont have to take out all the enemies its like KZ3 you can just run to the finish line.
i would not be surprised to see it hit 17 hours, especially on the harder difficulties its actually quite a hard game.
a hell of allot harder then the original, that was a cakewalk!
mainly because of the nano suit though, its no where near as powerful as it use to be which was really disappointing.
the nano suit is the star of the game, take that out and you got nothing!
