SOCOM 4 Bundle Unleashed, Inludes Move, Sharpshooter Etc.

SOCOM 4: US Navy SEALs is one of those games that’s been prominent in the PS2 era, but the game hasn’t really left a stamp on PS3. Zipper Interactive’s planning to change all of that with its latest offering, and now the developer’s showing enticing packages that are too good to pass up.

In stores from February 19th, Sony’s running a limited special edition of the game dubbed SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs Full Deployment Edition. Priced at $149.99, the SOCOM 4 Full Deployment Edition is packed all sort of goodies:

- SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs video game on Blu-ray disc
- PlayStation Move Motion Controller
- PlayStation Move Navigation Controller
- PlayStation Move sharp shooter
- PlayStation Eye Camera

Here’s SCEA’s John Koller:

“Given the high level of anticipation for SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs, we wanted to provide the most immersive offering to fans of the franchise, who seek to experience the next evolution of motion gaming,” he said in the press release.

“With the precision of the motion controller and the intuitive design of the sharp shooter, PlayStation Move delivers on that promise. When used in tandem with the stereoscopic 3D support for games like SOCOM 4 and Killzone 3, it results in an experience only possible on the PlayStation 3 system.”

The game will also feature hi-def 3D support and cooperative multiplayer upon release.

thats what they should of done for KZ3!
shame though the sharpshooter has been delayed till late march here which is really weird, they had it at the launch party the other night and it looked ready to go.
cant believe how expensive it is though, 80 bucks for a frigging piece of plastic!
could buy a brand new PC game for that price!!!!!
hell, i just bought bulletstorm today brand new on PC for 65 bucks from JBHIFI!
cant tell me that piece of cheap plastic cost more to make then a freaking game!

    It’s Australia, that’s why.

im not really interested in move, i dont see any good games that support that peripheral except some hardcore titles that would rather play with the dualshock anyways. hopefully sony comes out with an alternate edition with some goodies

Yeah. I was, and NEVER will be (fingers crossed) a fan of motion controls. Not my type of breakfast at all.

should give it a try, when i used the sharpshooter it felt really weird takes a long time to get use to but once you do its kinda fun.
makes sniping a hell of allot easier!
still not as accurate as a keyboard and mouse, but as close as consoles will ever get!
id get it if it was 40, maybe 50 max!
    but 80?

yeah im not into motion controls that much, i mean the wii may have motion controls but once you start getting used to while playing all the great games it has you actually feel like you are playing with a regular controller at least that was my experience with the wii. but aside that SOCOM 4 is gonna be awesome, also did you hear, theres actually been more rumors of slant six developing a new resident evil

  • http://www.gamesthirst.com Ernice Gilbert

Oh yeah? Well that’d be awesome beans. Hope the take it away from the action-game feel and back to horror… Awesome franchise.

  • nick

does not look good, slant six have always been a shooter developer.
id love to see monolith do a RE game, if theres anyone who can revive the horror blood into RE its them!
wonder what there working on now, there last game was F.E.A.R 2 and ready at dawn are doing the 3rd.
