Modern Warfare 3 Reveal To Happen At GDC

Update: Activision’s come out and debunk this news as fake, stating: “There seems to be a great deal of speculation about the next Call of Duty project. Let me be clear that we are not revealing yet. Anything indicating otherwise is a hoax.”

Original Story: It’s 2011 and another COD game will be made. This time, it’s Modern Warfare 3, being helmed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer. But when will we see an official reveal, you ask? Your wait won’t be extremely long.

According to TVGB, Activision has sent out a presser sending dog tags to journalists, while pointing them to a site called findmakarov.com

The bloody tags include the message “end the war” along with the details of Sheperd, one of the villains from Modern Warfare 2.

There’s a countdown on the timer, that says the reveal has five more days left, which puts it right in the middle of GDC.

Just remember Activision revealed Modern Warfare 2 at GDC in 2009 complete with release date, so it’s looking like this is real.

Will you buy yet another Call of Duty game?
