Video Thirst: Why All The Swearing In This Crysis 2 Trailer?

Listen man, I’m really tired of these developers inserting swearing in their games uselessly, feeding us crap like we’re meth heads looking for a quick fix. I mean, wth?

Video Thirst: Unnecessary And Unrealistic

I know there are set pieces that call for a word or two, but this trailer is so compact with swearing you’d think Crytek was in a match for most fouled mouth trailer ever. I heard the same story about Bulletstorm, but at least the latter includes an option to turn it off, a feature I doubt Crysis 2 will have.

Another thing is why do these developers think swearing goes on ALL the time in war? I know it happens, but I have friends who are in the army, and they claim that’s just not the case. I really hate this nonsense.

If you’re going to add so much vulgar language, then at least give folks the chance to turn it off they so wish to.

if you think that is bad, play the first 2 seconds of Bulletstorm. Every other word is a swear word, but you can turn it off in that game.

Yeah, I know. My brother told me. And they’re all just trying to be, what, cool? Give me a break. Makes the games look stupid.
