Video Thirst: First Crysis 2 PS3 Gameplay Vid Exposed, Multiplayer Beta Confirmed

Didn’t I mention to you in another thread that EA and Sony had a great relationship, and with that being the case, EA told Crytek hold off on PS3 footage of Crysis 2, and don’t announce the multiplayer beta until Killzone 3 went on sale? Man I told you that’s what happened.

It’s the only real explanation as to why is Crytek only now showing off PS3 footage of the game, and even teasing a multiplayer beta.

Anyways, BOOM!

It looks good, people. However I’ll wait until the beta comes around to cast judgement. Impressions will be incoming.

At the end of the vid, Crytek confirms that there’s a multiplayer beta coming to the console.

On the PS3 it is rpatricky and the 360 is ScorchedEel. I have not done Xbox Live Gold in over a year. I can guarantee that Gears 3 will be on my purchase list.

I will. Sounds good. I’m letting my brother play through the campaign now. I’ve been on Black Ops and, despite all the issues, can’t seem to pull it out of my PS3. That and the peer pressure from my friends. HA!

LOL. Know what you mean. I have Black Ops; but ever since I went into the KZ3 beta… I haven’t returned. Black Ops is good though…. Did well on there too.

it looks okay. I just am not that excited. It feels like another fps, and i am not into the story. Also, I know that is suppose to be a war torn NYC, but it does not feel that way. That is one thing that KZ gets right. In that game, you play on a war torn planet and you know it, that is why i love kz so much. It has the best atmosphere.

Crysis does look and feel like another FPS, I guess I”ll wait for the beta before casting any judgement.

MP im not interested about, but the campaign is freaking amazing!
cant wait to finally be able to try it out in 3D!

Wait, you’re not interested in a shooter’s mp? That’s one of the genre’s driving forces. I mean how long would I play Crysis 2 without jumping into its beta?
