Danger Close Already Working On New Medal Of Honor

Danger Close, the same developer who handled the Medal Of Honor reboot in tandem with DICE, has already confirmed that its knee-deep in yet another MOH game.

That’s according to the studio’s producer Greg Goodrich, who wrote a blog post enttitled “In Case You Were Wondering”, adding: “Yes, Danger Close is currently working on the next Medal of Honor.”

He continued: “Since our launch last October, we’ve studied, listened and absorbed much of your feedback and are very excited to be marching forward on the next title. We can’t wait to tell you more about it, so check back often to the website and the fan page on Facebook.

It’s going to be a fun ride for the Medal of Honor franchise. We are happy to have you aboard.”

The Medal Of Honor reviews came in mostly poorly, although our very own Joshua Tompkins gave it a 8.6/10. The game’s since then gone on to sell 5 million units on all platforms, which is a great showing by all means.

EA CEO John Riccitiello said in the company’s Q2 financial call in October that despite the poor reviews, the Medal of Honor reboot was a clear success, so I’m sure they’ve already allocated money for another title.

sweet, MoH is one of the generations most unappreciated games!
much better then that COD and BFBC2 crap!

  • Joshua Tompkins

Fixed. Thanks for the sharp eyes… Yeah. I didn’t like its MP one bit.

did not try the MP, but the SP is the best from a war game ive ever played!

    Oh yeah? Okay.

I mean, I thought it was good. Just not the best thing that ever happened to the FPS genre…

i enjoyed it because it made you feel like part of a unit and actually made you feel like your at war.
COD, BF dont feel like war they just feel like ordinary shooters.
i really liked the tactics evolved, and how your team are constantly streaming info to you.
best part was the battles themselves, instead of the AI automatically seeing you as soon as they spawn this actually lets you sit and wait see where the AI goes which gives you a chance to seek the advantage point.
some times enemies just go away, but if you shoot on sight then you have a unnecessary battle on your hands.
this game makes you think, unlike the others.

Good news hopefully this time around Danger Close will handle the multiplayer as well. Talk about two different games. However, I did enjoy the multiplayer more via PC….
As a military FPS Medal Of Honor single player campaign, story and strategy wise brought more to the table than your typical military FPS….
For MOH 2 I hope the people of Danger Close kill the bugs and glitches that plagued MOH and show The Games Thirst community some love. They (WE) provided the most in depth reviews, commentaries and overall adoration of the game than any other video game site or community. Take care of those who take care of you….
Now get to work of MOH 2 time to avenge Rabbit.
