Danger Close, the same developer who handled the Medal Of Honor reboot in tandem with DICE, has already confirmed that its knee-deep in yet another MOH game.
That’s according to the studio’s producer Greg Goodrich, who wrote a blog post enttitled “In Case You Were Wondering”, adding: “Yes, Danger Close is currently working on the next Medal of Honor.”
He continued: “Since our launch last October, we’ve studied, listened and absorbed much of your feedback and are very excited to be marching forward on the next title. We can’t wait to tell you more about it, so check back often to the website and the fan page on Facebook.
It’s going to be a fun ride for the Medal of Honor franchise. We are happy to have you aboard.”
The Medal Of Honor reviews came in mostly poorly, although our very own Joshua Tompkins gave it a 8.6/10. The game’s since then gone on to sell 5 million units on all platforms, which is a great showing by all means.
EA CEO John Riccitiello said in the company’s Q2 financial call in October that despite the poor reviews, the Medal of Honor reboot was a clear success, so I’m sure they’ve already allocated money for another title.
