Ah Guerrilla Games, after you’ve worked over two years to bring us the awesome product that’s Killzone 3, could you be prepping even a bigger surprise by adding online co-op to the game? Alas, and I thought life was presently good. It’s about to get even better.
The rumor stuns us via Nextgn, citing what it calls “cyber streets”. We haven’t heard nothing concerning this before now, so drink this water with a mighty dose of salt – it seems somewhat contaminated.
Anyway, if true, here’s what the patch will bring:
- Split-screen Botzone
- Custom Soundtrack
- More Botzone Customization Options
- Split-screen Online Multi-Player (Non-Ranked Only)
The last option would be the mother of them all. According to the site, the patch will hopefully land on launch day, however there’s no date given as to when it’ll surely arrive.

i doubt this is true, wish they would add dual account MP like what R2 had.
cant believe no other games have supported that, i mean who does not want to have a friend over and duke it out with other friends online?
much better then having to put up with that split screen crap!
