And the war continues: according to a piece on wired.com, PS3 root key exposer George “Geohot” Hotz must allow Sony to inspect his computer’s hard drive.
Thanks to US district court judge Susan Illston, who’s prior stance was blocking Sony’s push forward. She’d said that Hotz would need to retrieve information “that relates to the hacking of the PlayStation.”
The judge has since then retracted, however, saying it was unreasonable and that she wasn’t clear of the details from her previous order.
“This kind of got away from me and I apologize for that,” Illston uttered.
The judge ordered attorneys of both parties to consult with each other on exactly where and when Hotz will let Sony look over the HDD, but she ordered Hotz not to delete or modify anything in connection to the PS3 jailbreak.

not that they will succeed though, if this guys smart enough to hack the ps3 he would of formatted his HDD and replaced it with a new one ages ago!
