How would you like it if GTA, Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire, Agent and other big name Take-Two games, including Bioshock and Max Payne ended up in the hands of mega-publisher, Acitivision? According to strong rumors amongst many industry executives, it might just happen.
An anonymous senior games executive told MCV that, “there are very strong rumours amongst people at a very senior level within the global business.”
The source added: “But there’re not much more than that at the moment – they are just rumours. And, of course, given Activision’s news this week, everyone is now looking to see what their next move is. But you can definitely put two and two together and make four-ish.”
Will Take-Two budge? Well, it’s not the first time the company has been eyed for a takeover by another behemoth: EA tried the stunt back in 2008 but was unsuccessful, although they offered Take-Two a tempting $2 billion.
Still, this is plausible, as Acitivision recently announced that it’s putting to rest the Guitar Hero and True Crime franchises.

yeah i think it’s a bad idea from a gamer’s perspective. But this is a business decision. i hope it doesn’t happen though.
