There Are Too Many Games Coming Out At The Same Time Says Bioware

It’s starting to get too expensive to be a gamer, because so many good games are being released at the same time, you’re sometimes left in this strange position of choose one over the next.

That shouldn’t be the case BioWare co-founder Ray Muzyka contends, adding it’s becoming “very hard” for the gamer to keep up.

“There’s too many games released,” he said. “It’s interesting, because it’s very, very busy, it makes it very hard as a player to keep up. The releases clump up – even though that is changing a little bit.

For us, we have to play our games, play competitor’s games, play other relevant games, and play the handful of games we just really want to play more of and finish. I try and play two-or three hours a night, but that’s hard and it’s not enough.”

See, the man’s a real gamer, and I must agree with him. Yet we know it won’t stop, as big publishers like EA and Activision have shareholders to make happy, and the only way of doing that, it seems, is by releasing a plethora of games to make profit.
