Why oh why Sega do you tease us but never demonstrate anything solid? We’re like kids, then, waiting for a happy meal that was promised but end up leaving the fast-food joint hungry.
Even so, Sega West boss Mike Hayes has gone on record stating as far as its concerned, Shenmue III is never off the table, saying “never say never” to the likelihood.
That’s what Hayes told CVG recently.
But is there any weight left in Sega’s words concerning a Shenmue III showing? We never know, but if the strong reactions continue, they might just do it.

ill believe it not when i see it, not when there on stage in front of me announcing it, but when im actually at home playing it on my own console on my own TV!
sega is dead, they have not released a decent game since the ps2 days!
and as if thats not bad enough, they keep making promises they cant keep and dangle the string just out of reach.
“ill believe it not when i see it, not when there on stage in front of me announcing it, but when im actually at home playing it on my own console on my own TV!”
I concur.
