Burnout’s Not Dead, Says EA

by Ernice Gilbert on November 2nd, 2010, under EA, Hot, News

Burnout’s not dead, fans. Give hope a chance.

Speaking to Eurogamer in a recent interview, EA Games Europe VP Patrick Soderlund was rather straightforward when the question concerning the much loved franchise, Burnout, was asked. “Is it dead?”

“No,” he said. “The way we look at it is Burnout is an IP EA owns. I hope to see more Burnout games in the future. But it’s about prioritising what we want to do. At this point we haven’t made a decision to whether Burnout does this or that, but it’s not dead for sure, no.”

“Not dead for sure”, you hear that fans?

Now get the petitions running and a new game might be just around the bend, literally.
