LOL. Yeah, that one boss fight in the demo I thought was just ridiculously over-the-top difficult.

action packed it is, but that dont make a good game.
the boss battles are freaking frustrating too!
they can kill you in one hit, they have almost infinite health no joke it takes forever to kill them!
and this is on easy difficulty!
not one thing i liked with vanquish, besides the fast paced action it all sucked.

Agreed on the button-mashing stuff. Although I must say I'm having fun with the demo....Action-packed I thought.

not surprising considering how short and boring the game is.
i thought KZ2 brought a whole new extreme to the term cover shooter.
i had no idea!
took me under 5 hours to finish, and was bored stiff every second of it!
PD need to stop trying to go for this fast paced action theme there sticking to, because that seriously limits what you can do.
theres a reason why vanquish is so linear, its because theres so much special effects and crap on screen theres not enough memory to store the rest of the levels so they lock them out.

id like to see PD do a sword fighting sim, something kinda like ninja gaiden, something with a really deep complex time based combat system.
not bayonetta where its just mash every button as fast as possible till the credits roll, but a well times combat game like NG.
in NG you button mash you last roughly 40 seconds, you really need to time each attack, instead of mash a button 10 times to take out a enemy, you need to wait till each hit connects than press again with precise timing.
now thats a action game, not this mash button crap wheres the fun in that!?

idk, mediocre reviews, and barely any advertising. Also, it released the same day as Castlevania, and a week before MOH, and 2 weeks before Fallout. Those are all established franchise, while Enslaved is a new game that was not getting great reviews.

I do not see this as a bad thing. I was not expecting it to sell well anyways, and in fact, I think it has sold pretty well for day one in Japan. Now Enslaved sales are sad. Last time I checked, which was a few days ago, it had only sold 80,000 copies. That is sad.
