I’m not sure where this came from, as to whether the PS3 version of Assassin’s Creed II suffered with problems while the 360′s flourished, but the game’s level design content director Phillipe Bergeron has told IGN that in their upcoming effort, AC: Brotherhood to be released next month, both versions will be identical.
“At the end of ACII we realised that the PS3 was sort of an afterthought – or, not that it was an afterthought, but we hadn’t fully debugged it until the very end, and we had a bunch of frame-rate issues and quality issues,” he told the site.
“This time around we knew that, because we went through it once, so we decided to attack it from the beginning and I think the final product is much more on the level, and even on some parts, the frame-rate is probably sometimes better on the PS3 than it is on 360.”
The highly anticipated game will be released in the U.S. on November 16th and in Europe on November 19th for PS3 and Xbox 360. The PC version comes next year.

you know what i never saw anything wrong with AC2 on the ps3 not one problem. has anyone noticed that whats wrong with gamers today, is that they seem to nit pick about every little thing wrong with a game instead of having fun with it.
@Ghost: that’s so very true bro. I saw nothing, nothing wrong with the PS3′s version. But then there must have been a few gamers who complained….But I don’t get it. It’s mostly fanboys, though, those who think everything has to be perfect on one console, and if not, they protest. It’s ridiculous.
the ps3 version of AC2 had allot of screen tearing and frame rate issues.
was a poor port, but ubisoft normally has there games more or less identical to each other so id expect this to be the same.
Okay, didn’t notice anything wrong with it.
according to GI this actually starts off where AC2 left off.
first mission has you escaping from the catacombs, and you will actually have a few levels where you play as desmond he will have his own platforming levels.
sounds really interesting!
Interesting indeed.
