While Sony and Insomniac’s relationship might not be the same, that doesn’t mean the two will stop working with each other. In fact, Ted Price, Insomniac boss, has said in the past that said relationship remains strong, news I’m sure many are happy to hear.
But what of the Resistance franchise, will the latest installment, Resistance 3, be the last? “I don’t think so,” he said.
“I don’t think so,” uttered Price, “I think Resistance 3 is a story within the Resistance universe that can be expanded upon.”
“Doors will be shut, but they won’t be slammed.”
Many of the features that made the first game awesome will be back in the third, things like the Weapons Wheel and co-op. The latter’s what I’m most thrilled about, though.

Resistance 4 “likely” on the PS4, though it could be on PS3 if it releases 2013 (2 year gap).
Agreed. Man, PS4, and Xbox 720 + Wii 2 or whatever Nintendo wants to call the console, will usher in a new season for the industry. I’m trying to imagine the technology said consoles will bring to the table.
will be on PS3 probably, insomniac have made a habit of creating a new IP for each system.

spyro for PS1, R&C for ps2, resistance for ps3 so im sure insomniac will do a new IP for ps4.
not to say R4 wont be on PS4, but it probably wont be there first game, id imagine sony would want them doing another launch title like resistance was.
Yeah but Resistance is a big franchise, it could easily go to PS4 like Killzone did.

they covered the platformer with R&C and spyro, they covered the shooter with resistance.
