Video Thirst: Seriously, What Can’t You Do In LittleBigPlanet 2?

The LittleBigPlanet 2 beta’s now in full swing, and the testers in said beta are having a field day creating and recreating all sorts of game levels, and even designing their own version of popular games.

I’m sure you remember, or have even played Flower, the PS3 download-only exclusive developed by ThatGameCompany. It’s one of last years most celebrated PSN titles, and guess what? Yep, it’s been recreated by PSN user RAPHEAI.

Crazy, mind-blowing stuff. Watch it below the break.

It’s all possible with LBP2′s hefty dev tool kit, and if this is just the beta testers doing their thing, imagine what awaits when the full game is released.

Awesome.

LittleBigPlanet 2 will be released on January 18th for PS3.

All you need is imagination and talent. Any game could potentially be recreated in LBP 2. This was a nice vid btw.

This has nothing to do with the post, but the reviews are starting to role in for MOH and I have seen a couple of 8.5, but I found one 7.7. I was like this score is a little low, and then I saw where it came from, Planet Xbox 360. After I saw where it was from, I was not surprised. Of course a xbox website would not give a good review to a big rival game. They cannot disrespect activision, and this is what is bothering me about game journalism. There are only few websites that I will trust, and the others I just have to ignore because I do not know if they really do not like the game, or if they are keeping a company happy. Well here is my rant for the day. LOL

@Mostly: Think you can do something like that? Should you give it a shot….

LBP 2? Um, I’ll give the creative tools a go but some of these guys are way better at level creation than I am. I can’t wait to play their creations.

  14. Ernice Gilbert October 11, 2010 at 9:55 pm -

Yeah, me too. I’m certainly not as close as these guys when it comes to creating levels.

    nice!
i just hope LBP2 does 2D platforming just as well as other genres.
thats one thing thats got me worried, the developers seem so fussed with great your own genre.
we dont want our own genre, we want what literally made the god dam industry!
