Capcom and From Software’s just unveiled their new Kinect title, Steel Battalion: Heavy Armour at Microsoft’s presser which, by the way, just came to a close.

The game takes place 2082, however kotaku pointed out that it had “WWII-like visual style.”
According to Keiji Inafune, the driving concept behind is the game is “What if computers disappeared?”
He said “there’s a world without computers,” so you can think for yourself the dreaded dilemma players will face. There was one strange thing, though, and it’s the massive Steel Battalion controller, an add-on for the game.
“Manhattan, 2082: In a world where computers and almost all modern technology have been lost, the greatest nations of the world continue to battle for supremacy. The American army lands in New York to begin its first big offensive of a long ground war. Soldiers fire from the trenches as scorched bunkers belch black smoke. As comrades continually fall to the unrelenting crossfire of bullets, the Vertical Tanks make their relentless advance. Experience the battlefield as never before with Kinect for Xbox 360.”

In the vid, an image of Manhattan 2082 is violently being tossed to and throw by raging winds, causing the ocean to waver like a double minded man. Unstable in all his ways.
Soon thereafter, it happens, an armada of armed forces equipped with warships, fighter jets and more descend on the city like a shark after its kill, no mercy. Then it happens. People die, etc.
