No Game Is Bigger Than Halo Says Microsoft

What Modern Warfare 2? And who cares about Grand Theft Auto? It’s Halo that is most popular franchise of all time, dude.

At least that’s Microsoft’s take on things.

“When it comes to the size and scope of a franchise and especially the dedication of the fans, no game is bigger than Halo,” Phil Spencer, corporate vice president of Microsoft Game Studios said in recently released media (via Gamersmint).

“With Halo: Reach we’re delivering on our promise to redefine blockbuster entertainment experiences and ultimately help make this year the biggest ever in Xbox history.”

Fighting words as usual from the software giant. But hey, you can’t deny Halo: Reach is one heck of a title. That thing can sell tens of millions of copies if pushed hard enough. And with Microsoft setting aside its biggest game advertising budget just for Reach, we’re sure it can indeed get there.

Seriously, the game’s a must buy. The reviews say so.

i must admit the games better than what i was expecting.
a long, long, LONG way away from a 9 let alone 9.5 id say more along the lines of a 8.
only 2 things driving me nuts so far is 1 most of the time you dont have a objective marker so your constantly running around like a headless chook!
2 god dam some enemies can take some bullets!
one of the white suit dudes, i hit him with a grenade, unloaded 50 bullets in him, meeled him 3 times and it did not even leave a scratch! than he fires a rocket at me and i die, he just flicks me off like im a fly buzzing around his face!
another time i had a sniper and shot a enemy 4 freaking times in the head but did he die?
    NOPE!
i know they have heavy armor and shields but jesus christ if 4 freaking sniper bullets to the noggin does not kill you than jesus tap dancing christ what will!?

it is better than what i was expecting, but its still nowhere near a 9.
i really can not see the big deal with halo games, the graphics in this have really disappointed me, i mean M$ were talking it up like it was a KZ2 contender but its no where near it!
    GTAIV looks better than this!
best part about it is its openness, that is something KZ3 REALLY needs!
its great how you can literally go wherever you want, whenever you want and fight the enemies however you want!
im sick of corridor shooters, its nice to have a open playing field to wreak havoc on!
